The new store, which is located in Top Lane, Calow opened to the public on Friday, 23 August 2019.
The former public house, Somerset House, has been sympathetically restored externally and extended to the rear, together with internal fit out and an extended and resurfaced car park.

The former public house, Somerset House, before works commenced to restore and convert to a new Co-op store for Central England Co-op.

After, a sympathetically restored building, in keeping with its surrounds in the village of Calow.
Internal Fit Out
Internal Works carried out by A&S Enterprises in collaboration with Central England Co-op approved sub-contractors.
External Works
External works included the extension and resurfacing of the existing car park together with seating area and incorporation of original signage from Somerset House, giving the local community a modern and vibrant new convenience store.
